In The Japanese Tea Ceremony the students create ceramic tea bowls and tea trays using them in a modified version of the tea ceremony. Buddhism, the development of the ceramic industry, architecture of the teahouse, flower arranging and the art of calligraphy are all topics for discussion.  Wearing a kimono and listening to Japanese music I serve the students green tea and rice cakes.
